Dr Rianna Crook

Dr Rianna graduated from the University of Leeds in 2016, as part of the very first year to graduate with the combined Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Dentistry. After completing her foundation training in London, she spent some time back in Yorkshire before returning to Devon in 2021 to be closer to her family.

Clinical Interests

Rianna has always loved the variety that dentistry offers, but over the years she has developed a particular passion for Endodontics, or root canal treatment. She is especially interested in helping patients save their natural teeth wherever possible. During her second maternity leave, she began postgraduate training in Endodontics and went on to complete her Postgraduate Diploma with Merit. She is now in the final year of her Master’s degree and continues to enjoy developing her knowledge and skills in this area.

Her Approach to Care

For Rianna, the most rewarding part of dentistry is getting to know her patients and helping them feel relaxed and looked after. She understands that visiting the dentist can feel daunting for some people, and takes a calm, gentle and personal approach to care. She believes in taking the time to listen, explain things clearly and involve her patients in decisions about their treatment.

Outside the Practice

Outside of dentistry, Rianna is happiest spending time with her family. She loves travelling and has a particular passion for snowboarding. When the sun comes out, she and her husband often pack up their campervan and head off exploring with their two young children. She loves discovering new places, enjoying the outdoors and making memories together as a family.
