Accessibility Statement

How we aim to make our website accessible to everyone, and how to ask for help or another format.

GreenTree Dental & Implant Clinic Website

Our Commitment to Accessibility

At GreenTree Dental & Implant Clinic, we want everyone to be able to use our website to find out about our practice and treatments, and to get in touch with us. We aim to make it as easy to use as possible, including for people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, speech recognition software or a keyboard instead of a mouse.

This statement explains the standard we aim for, the steps we take, the areas we know need more work and how to contact us if you need help.

The Standard We Aim For

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These internationally recognised guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of needs, including people with visual, hearing, physical, cognitive and neurological disabilities.

We are working towards this standard across the whole website and review new content as we add it.

We last tested every page of this website with automated accessibility checks in October 2026, and we fix any issues we find as quickly as we can.

What We Do to Make Our Website Accessible

To help make our website easier to use, we aim to:

  • add text alternatives (alt text) to meaningful images, so their content can be read by screen readers
  • use colour combinations with enough contrast for text and buttons, and avoid relying on colour alone to share information
  • make sure you can move through pages, links, menus and forms using a keyboard, with a visible focus outline
  • use clear headings, readable text sizes and a consistent layout, so pages are easier to scan and understand
  • allow text to be enlarged and pages to adapt to different screen sizes, including phones and tablets
  • label form fields clearly, so you know what information we are asking for
  • provide captions or a text alternative for video or audio content where relevant
  • write in plain English wherever we can

Known Limitations

Although we work to make every part of our website accessible, some content may not yet fully meet the standard we aim for. We are aware that:

  • some third-party content, such as embedded Google Maps, online reviews and other external tools, may not be fully accessible and is not under our direct control
  • some older content may not yet meet every part of the WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines

We are working to fix these issues where we can. If you cannot access something on our website, please contact us and we will do our best to give you the information in another way.

Help and Information in Another Format

If you have difficulty using any part of our website, or you would like information in a different format, such as large print, an email or a phone call to talk it through, please get in touch and we will do our best to help.

Our opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Visiting the Practice

If you have any access needs for your visit, or would like support before or during your appointment, please call us before you come in. We are happy to talk through your needs and will make reasonable adjustments to help you use our services, in line with the Equality Act 2010.

Feedback and Reporting Problems

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website. If you find a problem that is not listed in this statement, or you think we are not meeting the standard we aim for, please contact us by phone or email using the details above.

If you are not happy with our response, you can make a complaint using our Patient Complaints Procedure. To find out how we handle any personal information you send us, please read our Privacy Policy.

We are working to review and improve the accessibility of our website on an ongoing basis, including when we add new pages or features.

This statement was last reviewed on 17 October 2026.
