Guru Bangari
PRINCIPAL DENTIST, IMPLANT SURGEON AND SEDATION SPECIALIST
Dr Guru Bangari is our principal dentist specialising in Dental Implant treatment and dental sedation. Guru graduated from India in 2003, where he worked within general practice, hospital and community dental clinics honing his skills in Oral Surgery before moving to the UK in 2007. In 2019, Guru was awarded his Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons, London. Shortly after that, he was awarded Postgraduate Certificate in Conscious Sedation in Dentistry from University of Portsmouth enabling him to treat anxious patients under conscious sedation. Guru has also completed his Masters in Public Health from Anglia Ruskin, Essex in 2010.
Guru is also an Associate Fellow of College of General Dentistry and is an active member of the British Dental Association. He is also a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD). Guru’s main area of expertise is Implant treatments which help people to reconstruct their mouths and make them functional and natural looking.
He attends various courses and conferences to keep himself abreast with the latest dental techniques and shows this by constantly developing his skills and updating his equipment to deliver exceptional standards of care.
Guru now lives in South Devon with his wife, two sons and their dog Archie. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, socialising, exploring the beautiful coasts of Devon and Cornwall and going on long walks with Archie. He is also a keen gardener who enjoys growing Indian vegetables in the UK.
Juliette Moor
Juliette graduated from Leeds University in 2001. After completing her VT year in Loughborough, she worked with the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery teams at Leeds and York Hospitals.
She moved to Devon in 2009 and completed a Diploma in Dental Implantology at Bristol University in 2011.
She met her husband in New Zealand in 2004 and they have 3 kids. In her free time, Juliette loves dog walks on the moors and on the beach and looking after and competing on her horses.
John Marks
John Marks trained at Guys Hospital Dental School in 1975-1980. He moved from London to Devon in 2000 in search of better environment for his young children. He has worked at this Practice for more than 20 years. He has enjoyed working with the close knit team and for an appreciative list of patients.
Outside of work, John enjoys exploring the coast and moors as well as trips to Bristol and London for shows and to watch cricket.
Claire Owens
Claire was brought up in Brixham and attended the local Grammar School. In 1994, after completing her A-levels, she enlisted in the Royal Air Force and began her dental career as a Dental Nurse.
By 1999 she had qualified as a Dental Hygienist and continued to work in the military. After nine years in the RAF, she arrived back home in the Bay in 2003 along with her young family and has continued to work in general dental practice in the area ever since.
Claire started working at GreenTree Dental and Implant Clinic in May 2023. She is dedicated to her patients and fosters good relationships with them all by trying to create a friendly, relaxed and calming atmosphere in surgery. Alongside her keen attitude to give the patient the best experience, she is also determined for her patients to get the most from their hygiene appointments and leave feeling informed about their treatment and motivated to continue their care at home. Plus, a friendly and encouraging smile from your Hygienist goes a long way!
Away from work, Claire enjoys spending time with her family, walking, especially weekend walks with her husband and holidays whenever time allows!
Priyesh Krishnankutty
A dedicated and compassionate Dental Therapist, Priyesh brings a patient-centred approach to oral health. Priyesh graduated from University of Kannur which is in Kerala, India in 2015. He then moved to UK in 2022 and did his Master in Science with commendation in Public Health. He is currently preparing to take up LDS and ORE (Overseas registration exams) so that he can pursue his career in Dentistry. In his spare time, Priyesh enjoys spending time with family and exploring the beautiful places in UK.
Merlyn Jacob
Merlyn has great experience in business and dental practice management and is dedicated to streamlining operations, enhancing patient care, and driving sustainable growth.
Her expertise spans team leadership, compliance, financial oversight, and practice development. She is passionate about creating efficient, patient-focused environments to ensure that every customer at GreenTree Dental & Implant Clinic leaves happy and with clean and healthy teeth.
Dr.Rajesh Kumar
Dr. Rajesh Kumar is a postgraduate dentist with a Master’s in Pediatric Dentistry from the esteemed Christian Dental College, India (2010), where he also served as Associate Professor. He holds a Licentiate in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons (UK), a Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative Dentistry (UK), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Implant Dentistry from Leida University, Spain.
Dr. Kumar is recognised for his patient-centred approach and expertise in managing anxious patients. His clinical practice focuses on delivering high-quality restorative and aesthetic dentistry, with advanced training in the Bioclear system for durable and functional composite restorations. He also provides treatments in composite bonding and clear aligner therapy.
Beyond his clinical commitments, Dr. Kumar has a passion for global travel and is an avid cricket enthusiast.
